What is the single most hilarious, laugh-out-loud comedy that you've seen in the last decade?

I cannot for the life of me remember the last time a comedy elicited a genuine, sincere, teary-eyed, gut busting laugh.

Grandmas boy or something about mary

Grim.
>>
Movie? Airplane
tv show? Xavier renegade angel
>>
people are pussies now and comedy has to be "respectful" of shit like "what direction someone punches in" when they're still PUNCHES
>>
>>221795555
>Xavier renegade angel
Based and checked.
>>
game night is the most recent comedy I enjoyed
>>
>>221795549
I dont understand. Are you suggesting that the humor is no longer valid or that i should have seen every single movie ever made before a certain date?
>>
>>221795470
it wasn't a gut buster, but i did enjoy popstar: never stopping
>>
>>221795604
No, I'm lamenting the fact that you have to reach that far back for something genuinely funny.
>>
>>221795470
Every Nic Cage piece of media has a scene that makes me lol. Have you seen spider noir? There was that part where he pretended to be a plumber and I was crying
>>
clueless
>>
>>221795668
I hate Nicholas Cage. He's a horrible actor.
>>
This movie had a lot of scenes that made me laugh, especially the niggerdin (best part of the movie maybe?) walking over the rock.
>>
>>221795663
I never said how long ago i watched them for the first time althoughbeit.

Beau is afraid

Nirvana The Band the Show the Movie was really funny, the whole theater was cracking up
I think people laughed at Slanted but I don't think it was supposed to be funny
>>
>>221795732
I refuse to watch that out of principle

The last movie I saw that genuinely made me laugh out loud on multiple occasions was The Cocoanuts (1929). First Marx brothers movie I've seen and apparently it's their worst, so I'm excited to see the others at some point.

does anyone else not really “laugh” at things? it seems like something people just play it up for the screen, at best i smile, i don’t see anyone laugh in real life like that
>>
Technically over a decade since it released in May, 2016, but still. I audibly laughed at many moments of pic related.

it's called anhedonia, it means you're probably going to commit suicide in the future by running into a blizzard and lying down in the snow and letting it bury you. But everyone will be like, wow that's pretty badass after, so it'll even itself out.

Sorry about the autism bro, that sucks.

My girlfriend convinced me to watch drop dead gorgeous. Actually fucking hilarious, it’s like Blazing Saddles wearing a chick flick’s skin suit.

I don’t want to ruin the shock value but legitimately it’s probably one of my top 3 mockumentaries.
