Believe the hype.

I don't want to go into too much detail, but I honestly believe this is easily a top tier Nolan film. Nolan's profound dissection of legends and the stories we tell that are passed on through generations is easily one of his best. The movie taps into a side of Nolan we haven't seen before, with easily some of the most visceral, haunting, and gruesome sequences he's done so far, with so many all-timer sequences. My personal standouts are the Cyclops and Circe sequences, the last voyage before Odysseus is stranded, and simply the final hour, especially the last 30 minutes.

Probably the most emotional I've ever felt during a Nolan film, even including Interstellar. The monolugues throughout the movie feel completely natural to the characteds and to the events of the film. The cast is phenomenal, with my MVPs being Damon, Morton, Pastel, and Leguizamo, along with great performances from Pattinson, Hathaway, and Holland. Damon especially brings the gravitas and torment to Odysseus that elavates the entire film. The practicality of the film helps immensely to make the film feel completely immersive.

It's a movie chalk full of all time sequences that stand among some of the best sequences he has ever done. His commitment to practicality makes the world of the film feel real and visceral, completely immersing you into the entire film. The performances are all top-tier. Nolan perfectly captures the character of Odysseus as a haunted, tormented, but resilient leader who will stop at nothing to go back home and to keep his crew alive, who are all excellently well cast.

Easily a top-tier Nolan film for me, and an instant staple of swords and sandals epics up. It's a 9.5/10 for me

This. So much this. Had an absolute blast the whole way through. Literally only chuds obsessed with trans/BIPOC people are railing against it because there’s like 2 minutes of scenes with them (we call that obsession mental illness)

The review embargo is over. Go into details instead of hiding behind vaguepost word salad.

You needed that many words to say that you are a leftist fagit who cannot stop sucking Nolan's woke cock?

You have to go back.
