Considering the mob’s previous actions, if police showed up and killed an angry aggressor while trying to arrest him, they would have burned his shop and maybe killed him anyway. In general, Spike Lee movies turn out to be a good case for race separation, even if he isn’t trying to do that.

The Professor made us watch this movie and tried to get us to analyze the movie. It was hilarious because there were no black guys in the class and the white people were extremely scared to say the black characters did anything wrong. Lone Asian guy said that they shouldn't burn down restaurants. Professor got upset saying we need to understand why they did it.
