haven't seen Galaxy but the answer is merch. I worked in retail selling party supplies for years and to this day, Frozen is still a top 3 despite there not being a movie for years. Classic Disney princesses are still huge, minnie mouse, Moana, etc.parties for girls drove like 80% of our sales compared with 20% for boys, who the parents would tend toward more generic settings like colours or vague themes like sport, Minecraft/vidya. Our licensed merch was insanely expensive compared with generics but parents felt the insistence to buy specific for their daughters only.Women drive consumer spending and are merch machines. The sole reason Nintendo/Illumination would have chosen to make Galaxy the followup is because of Rosalina/Peach/Daisy, they would be desperate to tap into even a drop of that Frozen goldmine.They are also going to boost Zelda as a heroine for girls, not to pander to wokeism or Blackrock funding or whatever but for the merch sales
