Goofy ahh character
>>
I'm white but essentially act exactly the same as him
>>
he was fronting just as hard as cheese just in a different way, baltimore hoppers werent used to a nation of islam guy so they feared him. All he did was show up with his manslave, shoot cheese, get shot, play cowboy with omar, and fuck off back to new york.

Yeah he was way too goofy. When I first watched this series, he actually confused me like maybe I was missing out on some essential black experience
>>
>>221802888
He was gay, brother mozoune?
>>
is gus fring the only time 'polite but evil genius negro antagonist' trope has ever worked?
>>
>>221802914
he was a little zesty

Character like him fits good in some Tarantino movie where everyone and everything is goofy and have some gimmick. But in the show like the Wire, that takes itself so seriously, he looks kinda off (same with Omar, but at least he was based on some real guy iirc)

>DROP THE LIBRARY CARD! NOW! THIS NIGGA BE READING.. BE ON YOUR TOES BOYS ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. SUSPECT HAS A BOOKMARKER AND HIGHLIGHTER, I REPEA—ACK!

Lex Luthor in Justice League always keeps up a very calm, collected facade whenever he's scheming or deflecting. But then he'll have moments where he just lets his villain flag fly and he just gloats and monologues.
>President!? Do you have any idea how much power I would have to GIVE UP to be President?
>>
To be fair Nation of Islam types are kinda autistic weirdos that have a strict discipline they follow and speak in a very formal way
>>
>>221803204
Is he even black in there?
I thought he was just tanned.
>>
>>221802888
no he wasnt. he already had a reputation of having more bodies on hi than a Chinese cemetery before he even came to Baltimore
>>
>>221802572
One of the most realistic characters in the wire
>>
>>221805569
Chinese cemeteries are notoriously empty
>>
>>221803050
Him not being black American definitely helped.

JB Smoove did it better
>>

He didn't need to bluff or front some low IQ nepo-dipshit like Cheese. He used ratshot only after giving him a chance to F off, then basically said try again and see what happens. Cheese retreats, then later finds out from Prop Joe who he is. Based on reputation alone, he gets to sit on a bench and read black supremacist magazines all day.
>>
>>221806357
bro what are you even talking about?
>>
>>221802572
>Goofy ahh
why do zoomers recently started saying this? what does "ahh" mean?
>>
>>221803094
brother mozoune was based on the real life Nation of islam member that killed Biggie Smalls
>>
>>221803542
And the discipline and formality is seen as some kind of magic by most urban blacks who tend to be deeply superstitious in the way that people who don't understand anything are.
>>
>>221808058
Ass, they use it to get around filters and continue to use it when there's no need because they're fucking retarded.
>>
>>221803050
is that chris rock?
>>
>>221803204
lex is not black tho, hes just a mystery meat
>>
>>221808148
*composite sketch of the Nation of islam member that killed Biggie Smalls if I remember correctly, so basically just looks only. They know next to nothing about how he acted and what his personality was like. At least with Omar they have various stories and street tales

i keeps one in the chamber, in case you ponderin
>>
>The Wire is such a realistic show!
>>
>>221811243
What does that mean? "That bitch gay"?
>>
>>221808058
zoomers have been mind-raped by social media filters and instead of ass they say ahh instead. Same thing with the "unalive" nonsense instead of saying killed or dead or murdered
>>
>>221802572
I like every single character in the wire. I wouldn't take out any of them.
>>
>>221811568
S5 had the worst characters ie. Scott, who was completely one dimensional. at least the other bad guys had some depth and nuance
>>
>>221811490
"That bitch gas." In this instance, "gas" implies something of substantial quality or appeal, much in the way "fire" did a few years ago.
>>
>>221811721
Fascinating. Thank you for translating.
>>
>>221811745
Anytime, anon. I have to live around these sort of mushmouth goblins, so it helps to keep up to date on the "language." I just try to pass it along when I can.
>>
>>221802572
Zoomers sound so dumb.
>>
