I agree with Black flag, but I do think that Odyssey is one of the only games that kind of benefits from having a little connection to the assassin's Creed universe because number one it it out of all the games that I've played in assassin's Creed which is not that many. It has some of the least references to the Future as possible and the main future reference is just seeing one of the current future protagonists who I don't care about at all bump into alexio's implying that Alexios has lived for thousands upon thousands of years essentially. And that's pretty cool. I like alexios a lot so it's a nice little touch to watch him die later on in the future
