I hope you're not in the reddit square.

>I hope you're not in the (most optimal seating)
No, I watch movies at my home theater with all the food and alcohol I could want. You wouldn't know anything about that being a broke boy.
>>
>>221806162
Maybe fifth row from the back, near the exit
That way I will hide from the shooter initially, then when he advances I will drop under the railing and exit in the back
I had this plan ever since I was 10-12 and didn't even know about USA yet
>>
im gonna go see young washington so when some commie or tranny shooter comes i can just shoot him with my musket rifle
>>
First row center, always
>>
>>221806162
back row, as center as i can be. i don't like moving my head to see the sides of the screen
>>
>>221806162
Near the exit (I’m American and afraid of shootings)

I haven't been to a kinoplex since before the pandemic but I always go to the same showing room because the row at the very back is further back and higher up than the standard measurements so there is more leg room as well as barely anyone sitting there
Dark, comfy, quiet
the ideal experience

Back row getting a stealthy handjob from my bf

home theatre is peak. i have a 7.2 system with a 200w 15" sub. wanting to save up for 13.2 atmos setup but i gotta get a me which first.
what system are you running anon?
>>
>>221806162
Front seats. I like that way movie looks as if I am staring straight up at the lines
>>
>>221806375
*new job first
>>
>>221806162
I sit in the back row because I’m kind of a bad boy.
>>
>>221806375
Nta but I recently got a Denon receiver for £100 which does 4K, and a Mordant Short 5.1 speaker set for £180, both from eBay. The difference is incredible, music in particular sounds so much better. My TV kinda sucks, I could go from 55" to 75" and still fit in the same space.
>>
>>221806375
>7.2
does that mean it has two subwoofers? And isn't 13 sources overkill? Where do they even go?
>>
front row of the center section, i like to rest my legs on the handrails for the cripple section
>>
>>221806592
They keep upping the speaker count so you need to buy another receiver every few years.
>>
>>221806162
Back row in case I need to masturbate.

First avalaible seat of the back row right when the trailers are stopping and immediately opening a sixpack.
>>
>>221806645
6 overhead channels is pretty crazy
>>
>>221806588
nice! I'm running a Sony STR-DH790 with a Sony Bravia 5 85". i like it :) sure as hell beats people scrolling on their phone and talking during the movie

>>221806592
yes two subs. I'm only running one right now though. 13.2 is a 7.2 plus 5 speakers in the ceiling, just like modern theatres have
>>
>>221806841
it is my dream, yes. imagine watching black hawk down with ceiling speakers. peak audiophile kino
>>
>>221807167
6 ceiling speakers. i hate mobileposting at work but here we are
>>
>>221807181
I'm sure that the effect is insane, I'm just wondering how many movies even make good use of it but that's mostly my poorfag mind at work. What's for sure is that good audio makes a world of difference in the movie watching experience
>>
>>221807181
>imagine watching black hawk down
No amount of speakers will ever fix your deplorables tastes anon.
>>

>>
>>221807311
you don't like war movies?
>>
>>221807305
pretty much all UHD/4k discs do, and the processors do a good job of emulating on blu-ray's. unsure about streaming b/c the signal is so compressed but i'd imagine the processors could emulate that pretty well also
>>
>>221807714
interesting, I wonder how much mixing work goes into a movie's audio to achive this
>>
>>221807683
Not when they are essentially recruitment ads for the US military.
>>
>>221806162
I'm in the last row throwing extra greasy popcorn at everybody.

no idea but I'm sure there's a decent amount of fine-tuning after the program does it's auto-fading stuff from speaker to speaker
>>
>>221806193
>home theater with decent sound system
>lazyfag so get doordash
>have a few drinks with it
>no obnoxious changing consumer habits talking or playing with their phones
Even though doordash is a ripoff, it still is cheaper than all of that at the cinema
>>

>>

I was always sit at the back.
>>
>>221806657
I wholeheartedly agree with you
>>
>>221809093
real. one person in the theatre + snacks is like $50 where i live
>>
>>221809139
i don't live in india pajeet. people sting me understand they need to take a shower every day and wear deodorant

The first step is acquiring a house. No way this is possible if you share walls with neighbors.
>>
>>221809158
back row is best row
>>
>>221809244
fair. although i've had this setup in apartments but yes i had to turn the subwoofer down drastically because I'm not a dick to my neighbors. now that I'm in a house though, it's ultra kino to have the walls and floors shaking during explosions
>>
>>221809295
Well done, anon.
>>
In the back so I can watch my wife blow a bunch of black bulls. I buy the tickets and drinks for them too
>>
>>221806162
who the FUCK still goes to the movie theaters in 2020+6?????
>>
>>221809244
yeah I'm in an apartment and I have a nice pair of stereo speakers, a subwoofer could add a lot to the sound but low pitch sounds travel way too easily through walls
>>
>>221809236
>people sting me understand
try again
>>
>>221806162
I do the rear maybe a little left or a little right depending. Also only go like 2 or 3 weeks after the movie comes out so that the theater is mostly empty.
>>
Nobody checks. I walk in free for fuck sake, these stoned out geek teenage attendees are clueless
>>
>>221809558
>people around me understand a basic hygiene
fml i hate mobileposting
>>
>>221809315
*tips fedora*

>>221809463
yeah gotta be considerate otherwise you're a 3rd-worldwr
>>
>>221809979
i used to do that before they started alarming the theatre exit doors. one friend would pay and go to the theatre & open the door to let the rest of us in
>>
>>221809934
that's actually pretty smart. it always pisses me off when someone has stolen my favorite seat.
