>>221807948This is also more in character for TV Homelander when you consider the previous seasons. Whenever he's confronted by someone who can hurt him, he either responds with sadistic glee or spergy anger. He doesn't beg or act scared. Like when Soldier Boy was close to taking his powers the first time. Homelander was fucking pissed and used that anger to break free.
Scorched carpet was a let down, but I guess they gave us what we wanted to see.
