BECAUSE next week Spiderman opens. The Odyssey has pretty much One Week to earn as much as it can. The studio is in Full Panic Mode.

There is no licensing for The Odyssey. No toys or action figures. No cereal or Kraft Macaroni & Cheese tie ins. This week is it's primary revenue stream. Blu Ray sales a few months from now are not going to save them.

The studio is desperate.

Regardless of ANY quality of ANY film, the harder they turn /tv/ into a shill market for their crap, the more I refuse to watch it, even for free.
