Lanthimos' movies are usually pretty entertaining, but I just could not get into Bugonia. It's supposed to have this tension about whether or not she's actually an alien, but it doesn't really matter since the characters are so unlikable. It's just long and boring and in real life the authorities would've found her within hour. I feel like any number of alien conspiracy movies do the exact same thing except better.
The acting was good in the ending was funny. 7/10
