What was his problem?
>>
>>221814009
too based for this world
>>
>>221814009
Too long inside. Couldn't deal with the pace of the world. He went in young, came out old. He couldn't keep up. So he bailed
>>
What no more rags off time does to a nigga
>>
>>221814009
Not competitive.
>>
>>221814009
If jail is about rehabilitation why they giving niggas 40 years? They that bad at rehabiliting people?
>>
That's basically me trying leave neetdom and get a job. I can't keep up with this world
>>
>>221814009
they said it in the movie; institutionalized
in prison he mostly had respect, his meals and living were provided, he understood its world completely
then got shoved as an old man into a "real world" he couldn't recognize and didn't understand to be a wagie slaving for the basic things he was given for free, everyone looking down on him or ignoring him completely
>>
>>221814009
50 years IS life.
I'd fucking kill myself too.
No money. No family or friends. Your body can't do shit.
Wtf would be the point?
>>
>>221814009
>What was his problem?
He originated the phrase "get busy living, or get busy dying". He didn't get proper credit for that. Red said it later, then some rapper stole it.
>>
He murdered someone and got 50 years for it. He deserved to die alone.
>>
>>221814570
It's not about rehabilitation, that's jewish horseshit. First it's about getting justice for the victim(s). Then it is about getting the criminals off the street, so they don't hurt others. Then, if the prisoner is willing, they can try to rehabilitate.
>>
>>221814853
Deserved got nothing to do with it. Plus he was Justified (tm)
>>
>>221814853
Oooh! He didn't murder anyone. His lawyer fucked him.
>>
>>221814853
In the book, he kills a group of blacks trying to rob him. They said reloading and shooting the bodies 45 times meant it wasnt self defense. he was unironically innocent.
>>
>>221814009
he was autist'stitutionalized
>>
>>221814733
That's nihilistic.
>>
>>221814733
just go kill someone else and get put back in jail then. Killing yourself is for fags
>>
>>221814009
He spent the best decadew of his life jailed, the outside world changed and left him behind. He didn’t have a life outside his prison where he was someone doing something useful and acknowledged by others inmate, outside he was worth nothing. Just a random old man no one cared about. A relatable man.
>>
>>221814570
americans don't care about rehabilitation, they care about retribution. it's why their recidivism rate is sky high. prisoners will get out, find out it's nearly impossible to even get a minimum wage job and then go back to crime. this is why america is the only western country with for-profit prisons. it's a business.
>>
>>221814009
>What was his problem?
Couldnt handle the fast paced 9-5 working at Super-Duper Mart. He knew boomers fucked everything up when they went along with globohomo jewish plans to sell us out. He decided to an hero becuase "fuck it"

Grew too accustomed to prison rapists. No easy way to get some that way on the outside.

Crushed by our gynocentric judeo-capitalist world.

Everyone loves this movie, but even though I'm not a Stephen King fan the novella is much better. There's no one main warden villain, it's a series of wardens over the years who are all equally corrupt, so you understand just how fucked Andy really is. Red's crime in the book is that he killed his wife and freely admits he's guilty. Some of the characters in the book are presented as belonging in prison for life instead of just being colorful characters, and you get to read about what they did. The movie leaves a lot of that out so you'll feel more sympathy for them. The Green Mile had this same problem, you wouldn't feel as much sympathy for Delacroix's fucked up execution if you knew the reason he was on death row is that he'd raped and killed a little girl then set fire to the apartment building to destroy the evidence, which ended up killing a half dozen other people (two of whom were children). These movies don't have enough bite.
>>
>>221814009

He was getting his bussy tossed, flossed, sauced daily with minimal effort. Once he got out it was a whole new world.
>>
In book he killed his wife and children over some retarded reason, so he deserved death. This movie is genuinely fucking retarded.
>>
>>221815511
Easy to say when you're young and your body isn't confining your consciousness in a meat sarcophagus that's torturing you 24/7.

It's insane how much even a minor traffic violation can completely fuck up your life forever in this country.
>>

It depends on what you want to do. You double parked once when you were 19? Hope you never wanted to get any job that involves driving or a federal job or anything related to law enforcement.

He got molested by the director of a low effort reality show after enduring an abusive upbringing
>>
>>221814570
The main effect of prison is to remove the worst people from society for a certain amount of time. All else equal the larger the fraction of the average criminal's life is spent in prison or jail, the lower the total crime rate is (excluding crimes while incarcerated), because they simply have fewer opportunities to commit crimes.
>>
>>221815845
I had to rape because I was making minimum wage. I had to assault a stranger because I was unemployed. I had to shoplift hair dye because the government won't buy it for me
>>
>>221816799
And you get to hear how Any had to shove wads of toilet paper in his butt after being raped so he wouldn't be bleeding all over his pants.
>>
I've been to prison three times but I never had to stay long. Can't imagine doing more than a 5 year stretch.
>>
>>221821459
You're right, it's basically removing people who are ridiculously stupid and have too much testosterone from society until they have less testosterone and are "rehabilitated" by getting old enough to not act on violent impulses with the same veracity.
>>
>>221822060
For me the worst part was having to spend time with the family
>>
>>221814009
Everyone in prison should be let free. Everyone outside of prison should be killed.

I’m a 31yo khv neet that has only ever worked 2 jobs in my entire life 1 of which was for 1 day because I quit and the other for 3 months. I look like this every time I go for a job interview. I did try to unfuck myself with a business degree but it doesn’t help because Im just not a social person and can’t into office jobs. I’m basically institutionalized from neeting. Miserable sack I am, I can’t do interviews because I’m always stressed but can shoot the shit easily if not stressed. Getting money is dang hard and as it stands life for me is just managing to be above water, not getting into a row boat and let alone a yacht, those are never happening for me. Just surviving and sinking when I get older….
>>
>>221814009
He waited 50 years to masturbate in public again, and he couldn't get it up.
>>
>>221817509
It only fucks up your life forever if you chimp out and turn that minor traffic violation into a felony.
>>
>>221816799

Red killed his wife and daughter for the insurance money. He did it by cute the break line on her car.
>>
What that bussy does to a niqqa
>>

>>
>>221817509

>>
Just wondering-- what would happen to a guy who moved to Asia in his teens and early adulthood from 2000-2015, then walked back into American modernity?
>>
>>221814009
He murdered his wife and kid and deserved to die by suicide, afraid and alone.
>>
>>221814940
Wrong. It's about sustaining cheap prisoner labor. They're forced into indentured servitude.
>>
>>221815334
In the book, he murdered his wife and daughter and losing all his money in a poker game.
