I often bring up the episode of The Wire (season 2?) going to Dumfries, VA and McNulty faking some "good ole boy" country accent, talking to the sheriff who he assumes is a redneck. At the time, Dumfries was basically the southern end of "Northern" Virginia, it's spitting distance from Quantico, and majority black. It absolutely was not some country redneck town in the early 00's.

The tree-in-concrete thing was noticable to me because circumstances dicated he had to pull it off over night in a city. Equally amazing is what he did to that FBI trainee chick he amputated and later mind fucked. Utterly insane thing to do but he had 2 full years to achieve it so I believe it.
