His most perfect film is Notorious. His most pleasing film is Rear Window. His most fun film is North by Northwest. His greatest film is Vertigo.

But basically everything he made from Rebecca to the Birds is worth watching. I think Marnie is a complete failure and when his powers finally faltered.

1. Psycho: not a particularly hip choice for #1, but it's the correct one.
2. Vertigo: the most visually stimulating, and I love the dreamy quality.
3. Notorious: pure class

I liked Frenzy. Stars a geezer that looks a bit like Oliver Reed.

It's gets regular rewatches from me. That scene with the handcuffs in the inn is both very funny and very sexy (and it's very hard to both at the same time - kudos to Madeleine Carroll and Robert Donat for pulling that off). Didn't know that little bit of trivia with Siggy's mum ... lol.
