You don't get it. It's a meta commentary. By making the effects and edits bad, it evokes old pulpy films, but without the nostalgia to prop it up. It's a criticism about romanticizing the past

I realize this is sarcasm, but there are people who will unironically defend this shit heap of a movie with such arguments.

Old pulpy films have bad effects and poor edits because they were mostly made by passionate amateurs working on shoestring budgets to try and break their way into the film industry. The charm doesn't come from the bad effects and poor edits, but from the underlying determination and sincerity of the filmmakers doing the best they can with what they had, even when their best was crap. Trying to evoke that when you're an industry darling with a budget of a third of a billion dollars doesn't fly.

he already got awards. this is just him and friends getting money. this shit didnt cost 250 million to make. its just advertisement for imax and nolan and friends getting laundered money. they all show up, wear tshirt and jeans tier outfits, film in 2 weeks and wrap. they dont reshoot anything and just take it as is. no one cared. throw shit at screen. use whatever shit script shekelberg recommends and cast anyone shlomostein tells him. everyone pats everyone on the back and critics forced to accept it as he sales into sunset with tens of millions of money plus whatever was laundered.

the fact that nobody in any of these Elon Musk backed threads posts the circe animal transformations scenes here is proof that you are all sons of bastards and trump supporting zionist rapists.

because you all know how fucking awesome that scene was

it will destroy your narrative if you post that scene here because that scene alone will make everyone rush into the theaters to see this masterpiece
Ps: Yes you heard me right. All this anti Nolan threads were made by financial support from Elon Musk. That faggot is so bitter he wants to see this movie fail.
But it wont. Elon will suffer in hell because he is a rapist and Nolan will go down as the greatest film maker of our generation.

Did he? I read that stuff. And it says that the story needs to be about minorities. And Nolan's movie is about a white guy going trying to go home to his white wife and white son.
Having some minorities in small roles isn't enough to get Oscars
>>
>>221818160
Id buy that, but If he actually did a real Odysseus movie that filled all the "chud" citera and was appealing to men, something like gladiator or troy he would make a fortune. But as someone else said his fight-directing is the worst in all his movie
