Just added 145 more movies to my watchlist
>>
How do you find good movies?
>>
>>221820602
Pay attention to the people and scenes involved. Directors, cinematographers, specific movements, technology used...etc
>>
>>221820582
This was a retarded gimmick
>>
>>221820640
Solid advice, thanks Anon.

i'd also recommend looking up names and titles that are unfamiliar to you on the 4plebs archives. you might end up with some cool threads where people discuss even more interesting stuff for you to further explore.
and don't underestimate the value of genuine film critics. not the roger ebert kind, but the actual guys who were researching stuff and engaging with artists everywhere. like a tony rayns.
>>
I only download movies but not watch them

MUH GAWWDDD, ITS STING! THE STINGER IS IN THE HOUSE!!
>>
>>221821004
I do this with retro games. I've got hundred of MS-DOS and Amiga bs that I'm probably not even going to touch. Keep raiding myabandonware and other cool places online out of a compulsive need to collect.
>>
>>221820679
agreed but what else did sting really have, lol
he pretty much sucked on the mic
>>
>>221820679
It was absolute kino. Crazy ass 2010 TNA storylines are 1000x more valuable than anything that's been on wrestling tv in the last 5 years.

I used to hoard like this, but had a major drive die with no backup, had to learn to live with it, discovered I didn't miss anything on it that much if at all but this 0.001% of it
don't do it anymore
might end up regretting it one day when the internet changes unrecognizably for good but hopefully I'm dead by then anyway
>>
>>221821335
was it the storyline he was doing when jeff tried to wrestle him so visibly inebriated bischoff had to call an audible and sting force pinned him immediately
>>
I skipped TNA totally by then the canned heat thing was so outrageously bad & fake
>>
>>221821382
I think that was later on, I don't recall Sting having the Joker facepaint at Victory Road.

Yeah I almost always end up watching something that's not even on my backlog too
>>
>>221822207
I keep grabbing these classic old high rated movies and ditching them 20 minutes in because they're boring, like lawrence of arabia
is my mind ruined?
>>
>>221822409
Possibly, but I also think you should ask yourself why you're watching them and what is it that you're hoping to get out of them, because you might be going into it with the wrong mindset. Besides, the epics aren't exactly the most digestible type of movies. You might get more out of shorter noir films and westerns. Try Nicholas Ray's films, or something like the Set-Up by Robert Wise.

Boutique bluray labels. If one of them puts out a movie you like, check out their other ones.
>>
>>221820582
And how many have you watched today?
>>
All you gotta do is thumb through the filmographies of people who are in stuff you remember or recognize from the old days.
It's a seven degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon thing, you'll uncover lots of stuff under overturned rocks this way.
