Does your movie theater have a kinogong that sounds to annouce when the movie is about to start?

My local kinotorium has The Speaker. No one knows who is of course. He loudly proclaims what is showing and when. They don’t actually show the times anywhere else, so you can either scramble to get a ticket in the ten minutes between his announcement and the showing, like everyone else does (cowards), or you can be decisive, and buy a ticket when you get there, and walk in to whatever shows next with your head held high. I’ve seen some real stinkers because of this system, but I never flinched away from them. The Speaker has begun nodding to me as I pass because of this.
