>Cast 50 year olds to do physically demanding role that should go to a younger actor >They get injured and shut down productionWhy does this keep happening? Why don't Boomers/Gen X stand aside and let younger actors take over?
>>221822116Atreus will have a sudden age up midseason lol
That picture is just AI right?
>>221822258it isn't anon, everything is terrible, it's going to flop for sure. from now and forever it will be known as the most terrible adaptation ever, also I'm sure someone is black in there that shouldn't be
>>221822116This is why stunt doubles are a thing. Your lead actor shouldn't be the one doing risky activities anyway
>>221822116That image looks terrible. God I hate father figure slop.
>>221822296>it's going to flop for sure>Amazon showThere's no such thing as a flop on Amazon, their pockets are so deep that it doesn't matter how much money they spent on it, or what the actual viewership/membership numbers are or whatever metrics they use. They don't operate like a Hollywood movie production where they spend a bunch of money and desperately hope they can somehow break even. Every show they make is just an ad for Amazon itself. God of War is a big enough IP that when the show is released the conversation and social media exposure around it will divert just enough attention to Amazon Prime.
>>221822116Young people don't want to work.
>>221822355>>221822258It looks like a parody.
>>221822116>Do God of War tv show>Do Norse arc>Skip the three-part Greek epic arc which gives context to the entire storyokay but why?>wow... muh redemptionokay but from what? this old ass nigga was just living in a hut for some reason, uhh wuh huhh??
>>221822998>okay but why?Cause it's what's part of the zeitgeist right now
>>221822116>tore his bicepjesus christ, what the fuck was he doingalso nu-kratos is old
>>221822258>>221822296As long as they have Kratos and Baldur duke it out I’m sure it can’t be that bad
>>221822116I for one don't understand why they started with the new games anyway. The entire context for the new games is that Kratos was literally an unstoppable psycho who relaxed when he had a kid and throughout the game is forced to become his younger self again. When you finally get the blades of chaos again it's a hype moment because you played the earlier games and you're finally getting back that power. The show is going to capture none of that. Unless they dedicated a lot of the show to flashbacks with a younger actor.

According to sources, he has since undergone surgery and is now recovering.>God of War paused production Immediately following the incident and remains on hiatus.>Hurst’s projected recovery time is unclear but for a serious bicep tears requiring surgery, it is typically 4-6 months, with a return to full strength taking up to a year. Given the physicality of the role, it will likely not have been safe for Hurst to resume filming until 2027.
