ITS STILL REAL TO ME, DAMNIT!
Me after I watch willy ospreay hit his 17th finisher on kenny omega in a 4 hours 7.85 star classic
me after Chris Hansen tells me I was taking to a decoy
>>221822659Wrestling, by admitting that it's a work, is more real than most of the multi million dollar generating sports competitions of the world. You can't even convince me that a bunch of greedy suits will continue to pass on rigging sports events for the very flimsy sake of ''integrity'' when they could be cashing in unlimited betting dough. It happens in boxing, it happens in MMA, it happens across all sports, which kills the immersion for me.
>>221822820Yeah but normal competitive sports can still be played out without rigging. You CAN play a basketball or football game for real. You CAN have a boxing or MMA fight without it being rigged. But you cannot have a pro wrestling match that isn't improvised stage fighting and acrobatics with a predetermined outcome.
