Stuff like veal racks, arctic char, and cheesy spaetzle, really good but pricey. It wasn’t a “celebrity” restaurant, didn’t make it about himself at all. I’ve been to two Kitchen Nightmares restaurants. One our family went before he filmed there, it was a Greek place is Ventura and I remember it being fine, another was a pizza place we went to after the remodel. We went there twice and the pizza was good but it was in a really ghetto part of town and you had to walk through a bar to get to the restaurant part so all the regulars would stare at you as you try to get to your booth. It ended up closing down years ago
