What a boring instrument to main. I learned to play guitar out of boredom at band practice when I wasn't doing the respectable job, drumming. We're always in demand, meanwhile guitarists are a diamond dozen.
I don't even tell people I'm a guitarist, that's how beneath me it is.

Well here's your problem, only classical guitarists and pianists are respectable. And drumming? Neanderthal tier rock banging. You don't even need to know or understand a thing about harmony. You could literally give a drum set to a monkey and it would probably perform comparably.
