The metaphor movies are so much worse because they literally have plots that don't make sense in any way but people will say it does make sense if you understand it's a metaphor. Backrooms still makes sense if you don't understand it's an allegory. The ending of something like Relic doesn't make any sense unless you just accept that it's a metaphor.

my fav part of the movie was the red dressed girl running into the corner and the midget flickering his lamp it was straight up twin peaks and we need more of that creepiness in horror movies
what about the theory that he was violent with his wife, i find it hard to buy into it and the other one about him killing his employee, because he is willing to let mary live, no one has been able to explain why, if this was so important, they would have added an extra scene where he is seen either trying to kill her or offer her up to captain clark, but all they show is him just being interested in feeling like he was right
