What's a movie everyone has seen, BUT YOU?
For me, it's The Godfather. I've seen all the other. big gangster films, Goodfellas, Scarface, Casino, but I've never seen the Godfather. I've never even seen The Human Centipede, The Seventh Seal or The Sopranos either.
>>
I've seen every movie

The Toy Story Franchise.

A local barber was cutting my hair a few years back and asked if I had seen Toy Story 4. I told him I had never seen any of the films. He was so shocked that he thought I was lying. He called his girlfriend on the phone to tell her I hadn't seen any of the films. I was sitting in the barber's chair with half of my fuckin' hair missing, looking like an absolute retard. I could hear his girlfriend saying: ''Who hasn't seen a Toy Story film?''. For clarity, me and the barber don't even know each other by name; I had only visited the establishment maybe 4 times previous. As far as I was concerned, he was a stranger.

That's crazy, Anon.

Lord of the Rings.

I don't do wizards and shit.

I've seen one a bunch. Only 2 and 3 once each. Never bothered after that because end of 3 seemed a fitting end

Titanic

I haven't seen a single Avatar or Harry Potter, nor have I seen Dirty Dancing (had my fair share of chick flicks anyway).
>>
>>221833487
There isn't much wizarding at all in it actually

I’ll dirty dance with you, anon

NO WAY FAG
>>
>>221835164
I've also never seen Dirty Dancing. I did see the 1st Avatar and hated it, so I haven't seen the other ones.
>>

— The Dark Knight Rises [or whichever one has the Bane meme scene]
— Avatar [big box-office hit, they say, so most people must presumably have seen it]
— Harry Potter [any of them]
— The Sound Of Music [everyone seems to have seen it on TV as a matter of course]
>>
>>221835164
I've also never seen a single avatar movie because I always thought the blue cat niggers were too ugly and off putting.

This thread is going to reveal that in fact not one single person has seen Avatar in a cinema. So where did that box-office record come from? What's going on?

I didn't fully understand how fake and gay everything was back then, but supposedly the superfans saw it 10, 20, 50 times. Got totally immersed in the world, then got depression after it ended and they were back to real life. So, they'd just watch it, again.
>>
>>221838092
Oh, I saw it in the theatre, in 3D. Everyone was creaming their pants over how mega awesome it was and I fucking hated it and Terminator 2 is like my 3rd favorite movie.
I was so disappointed.

Had a similar thing happen once. Was delivering a catering order to a dealership when someone made an incredibly obscure reference to one of the guardians of the galaxy sequels. I didn’t get it, because i don’t really watch marvel movies, and they looked at me with genuine confusion bordering on existential terror that I had t seen guardians of the galaxy 3 and memorized every line from the background characters. Very weird situation to be in.

Haven’t ever eat through Lord of the Rings. I’ve played the games, I know the general plot, I’d even go as far as saying I generally like the setting, but I just can’t manage to watch the movies. Tried to a few times and fell asleep in the title sequence. Lots of respect for what went into the movies but never seen them.

My wife keeps watching dirty dancing and I hate it. Idk what the appeal is. Patrick Swayzes character is a creep. Literally his opening scene is the camp manager telling him, “stay away from those underage girls” and him flipping a table. I’m really not even being that facetious, someone should post it
>>
>>221838984
This Aged Great on YT does a really great video on it. It's the only reason I know anything about Dirty Dancing.

When Al goes on vacation to Italy for 40 minutes I totally lose interest in the movie.
Luckily Star Wars destroyed “new Hollywood” in the 70s and we finally got talented film makers in the 80s
>>
>>221832458
Toy Story 1 was a decent kids movie
People will tell you the sequels are good or better but don’t waste your time
>>
I've never seen any of the Marvel movies past the first generation, but I'm sure loads of people fall into that category
>>
>>221831914
that's not true; nobody saw supergirl
>>
>>221839448
evil toons, that scene might be the best tits ever shot on film
>>
>>221840458
Bingo on both counts.
Only movie I permanently keep on my laptop.

Shawshank Redemption
Gone With the Wind

I'm with you on the Godfathers, and it's not like its references/parodies I've encountered over my lifeime have put it into the "I feel like I've seen it already" category or anything. All I know is a horse head and the offer you can't refuse quote
It's just why watch when Baccano! was the peak of the mafia genre
>>
>>221831885
I've also never seen The Godfather, I'm planning to watch it one of these days even though it doesn't sound appealing to me AT ALL lmao, mafia-cebtered films are amongst the things that I care less about in this world......but all my life I've been hearing about what an incredible achievement of a film it is and also I love Francis Ford Coppola as a director, so I'll give it a shot
>>
>>221840598
I've seen most of the 70s New Hollywood classics, but I've just never seen the Godfather. Now it's kinda like why bother?
>>
>>221840862
You could always read the books. Movie does them justice for the most part
