>sci fi kino with interesting premise>suddenly becomes Bonnie & ClydeWhy did they do it?
>>221833133they were just dead set on reducing it to some average hollyslop
>>221833133wasn't Angelina Jolie his mom in this movie?
>>221833443Nah, Olivia Wilde
>>221833443Olivia Wilde>imagine
>>221833133>hey kid, what’s ya name ?>They call me JUSTin TIMEberlakeI turned off the film
>>221834570kek
>>221833133I really like the concept for this film. Are there any short stories or novels with a similar premise?
>>221833533he’s 3 years older than her lmao
>>221836494Oh. I thought they were a band, like Hall and Oates.
>>221833533There was a time when I thought she was hot
>>221836525Or like Peas and Carrots.
>>221833133seyfried was so hot in this with the bob haircut and the cute dresses, completely forgettable flick out of that
how did this happen
>>221834765Watch the movie. Everyone ages to 30 in the movie
>>221836579that's because she was hot. for a time
>>221836994He made this post >>221836444>Bonnie & Clyde didn't fought for justice.then deleted it and made a thread instead
>>221833533rancid woman
>>221833133Hollywood can't resist turning a cool idea into generic summer action slop
>>221833133fantastic first halflame second half god i really hate "action" part in movies
>>221833133I loved it but it's definitely lesser than the sum of its' parts. Also, I acknowledge that the whole premise is inherently ludicrous and you need to suspend your disbelief, but I still think they could've spent more time fleshing out the nature of the currency and how prices work relative to irl money value, because past a certain point it feels like they just start assigning random time values to stuff in a totally inconsistent way. Still it's a great movie, the whole sequence between him arriving in the top tier district and fleeing with the girl is kino.
>>221833133Okay bros :Where do you go with the film considering the premise ?The opening part is cool but then they just rob time banks and it’s totally lame and gay But I can’t think of a good plot for the movie considering the premise
>>221840107revive Olivia Wilde and have a threesome with her and Amanda Seyfried
>>221834570JUST
>>221839340>assigning random time values to stuff in a totally inconsistent way. That's exactly what's happening with U.S. currency and the price of goods today. It's become ludicrous.
>>221840511this has been debunked, actually
>>221840597How so?
>>221840704dunno, my prof at college said so
>>221840727Lol, they tried blaming tarrifs, but that doesn't account for the cost of local goods skyrocketing as well. Unless your gonna go with an up your ass round about sort of explaination i.e. The local vendors balancing out overhead cost that was affected by said tarrifs.Prices have been steadily increasing each year. Wages, however take years to increase and this has been going on long before tarrifs.I make a teachers salary working as a front desk associate at a hotel. I know teachers are notoriously paid in sea shells, but that's some fucking retard shit. All in all, I'd say that depiction of goods v.s. their value was pretty solid. Exaggerated for effect, but wise for getting the point across in a 90min film.
>>221841071you're seeing the effects of doubling the money supply during biden's presidency
I don't remember why you couldn't like just HACK TIME or how this crap even worked
>>221841387Without a wage increase I'm not sure how more money in circulation would cause a raise in prices.
>>221833133What's V and Misty doing in this film?
>>221841580You just can't, OKAY
>>221841787they gave that money to people who then put it into circulation
>>221841071Tariffs , if anything , would be considered deflationary
>>221841959Could you be more specific? Are you saying that "general mills" for example was given money so they could afford to lower the cost of their cereal for a time?>>221842078How so?
