I'm a real big pussy when it comes to horror, I had to turn off Martyrs about 30 seconds in. That being said, I'm curious about The Exorcist, is it too scary for a fraidy-cat, or is it more a thriller I can actually handle?

Can you not just think to yourself "oh yeah, these people are actors, none of this real" ??
Anyway, excorcist is different kinda demonic / possession scares.
The scariest part is when Danhausen is in it for 0.1 seconds.

Btw you will stop becoming scared of horror movies if you just watch some modern military war footage

I found The Exorcist scary because it’s well made and so more believable.
While Martyrs is retarded and not a good movie and so it was not scary.

play the scary maze game and see how well you handle that first

The Exorcist is disturbing because it feels realistic. The actual horror and scary scenes are quite minimal and nothing shocking by today's standards, but it's also a better movie than anything from the last decade.

End Game literally came out 7 years ago

I've done all those as a kid, probably why I can't into horror
