So basically they keep talking about Imax because only the imax screens are getting a decent amount of people? And if this is the case does this mean this film may actually flop considering imax screens are 1% of theaters?
True. If we twist reality enough, we can come up with a version of it to prove ourselves right! Brilliant!

>>221836906>Lauren Chen>Rightoid e-whoreHave you considered that people may want to watch it in IMAX due to word of mouth? See if IMAX remains full still after a couple of weeks
Same as my local theatre, the first couple nights have lots of seats reserved, everything else empty or literally two or three. Even imax isn't completely sold out though, but I'm in a pretty small town.
>>221836906Yes this is the most heavily astroturfed movie in history, you're correct. I'm sure the fact Soros funded it is a mere coincidence.
>>221837016>Have you considered that people may want to watch it in IMAX due to word of mouth? See if IMAX remains full still after a couple of weeksbro, you could have every imax screen filled 100% for the next month, but that is still 1% of all movie theaters
There's no IMAX where I live, but the premiere tonight is about 50% sold out, and a few seats sold for saturday and sunday. In the middle of summer with nothing to do (weather is shit too)
>>221836906This slop isn't even what Imax are for lmfao. What a joke.
>>221836906I see something similar where I live (in Europe), the extremely limited IMAX screenings are fully booked for the whole weekend, the subbed screenings are 50% booked for today, and the dubbed ones are empty
>>221837016>word of mouth There has been a full fledged, multi wing, full spectrum advertising campaign around getting this film associated with IMAX. Dozens of articles, interviews, and the “see it in IMAX” tag. How can you possibly think its word of mouth?
i watched it on a camprip on my phone at 3am which felt like the only way it deserved to be watched
