There is some extra window dressing by conservatives who are mad about the blacks and trans stuff. In reality, the movie is just the same slop as most other Nolan movies I have seen. Three hours of dark, colorless slop, with jumbled action scenes, an irritating soundtrack, and very short and infrequent dialogue. A Nolan movie set in ancient Greece is the same as a Nolan movie set in Gotham. The only question is, why do people keep throwing their money at him? The answer is he knows how to pick his audiences. The same people that salivate over Batman slop will salivate over Greek mythology slop. They are just happy that they are getting a Batman movie, period, regardless of its quality.

His wife challenges her suitors to try and use the thing and no of them can even properly string it. Once IRL people you know tell you it sucks you will never ever see it. So they are racing against time to trick you into risking it and buying a ticket before the truth comes out.
