Clark did nothing wrong
>>
>sends employees to their deaths
>kidnaps a person and some homunculi to fulfill his therapy role play fantasy
>>
>>221841935
all of that wouldn’t have happened if his fatass wife treated him better
>>
>>221841966
>his wife (supposedly) did him wrong so he isn't wrong to send two innocent people who worked for him without wronging him in any perceivable way to their death
You are spiritually indian.
>>
>>221841681
Then what did he do right?
>>
https://youtu.be/FJ3oHpup-pk
>>
>>221841966
His wife put up with his alcoholism. If he wasn't so whiny she would have kept him around.
>>
I think what that therapist didnt consider is that it was his house
>>
>>221842077
It was a bad memory of a house. He doesn't have a house.
>>
>>221841681
this movie is like the meme about going to see the color red and the screen is blue
>>
>>221842073
>>221842012
but his wife is fat, so whatever she says is invalid. fatties are not to be taken serious
>>
>>221841681
i'm pretty sure he beat his wife
>>
>>221841681
He kidnapped and killed people just because his wife left him. Only justifiable violent thing he couldve done would be to kill his wife, not random innocent strangers.
>>
>>221841681
I'd be topical over here being all like "look at all this rent free storage space" then 5 minutes later "wait where the fuck am I again?"
>>
>>221842434
Right right, so about those employees he fed to his pet monster.
Is that the normal hierarchy of things over there in india?

Kino movie.
I wouldn't go down that slope for anything.
>>
>>221841681
getting kicked out of his house by his shitty wife absolves him
>>
>>221841681
>quick lets spam some backrooms threads to distract them from the odyssey car crash
>>
>>221842253
No. It's kino.
>>
>>221843475
Yeah that cameraman was built different for sure. Not sure I'd ever want to be built that way but still.

Enjoyed the movie myself as well. Hoping to rewatch it with my dad soon.
>>
>>221841966
I really hoped they'd show his wife and she'd be some fat pink-haired boss bitch.
>>
>>221844092
They showed her in a photo. She was a redhead.
>>
why does the pirate version of him kills and eats people?
>>
top 3 movies of this year so far
1 Mother Mary
2 Backroom
3 Odyssey
>>
>>221841681
Great ending shot
>>
>>221845038
The backrooms generates manifestations of the psyche and memories of those that crossover.

The real Clark thought all of his issues were caused by external forces (his wife, his job, etc), so Pirate Clark felt threatened by any outside force that entered the backrooms and was violent towards them.

Pirate Clark only turns on real Clark because Clark admitted to the therapist that he was the real problem all along because he was "wired that way"

Pirate Clark also only ate people because real clark started eating the sketched people inside the backrooms

Sorry for mansplaining.
>>
>>221845431
Pirate Clark was eating people long before real Clark entered the 'rooms
>>
>>221845831
there was no pirate clark before that, dummy
I think you REALLY missed some important stuff about this movie
>>
>>221847497
you can see his silhouette before he murks the first hazmat guy in the prologue

>fear of the unknown
>detailed explanations of everything
>>
>>221841966
Maybe if he learned some self control (alcohol) (anger) he wouldn’t have been in this mess

But he doesn’t as you can see from the fact that he lives in his own shitty dying store bcuz he wife kicked his ass out and now instead of changing he’s just bitching to his therapist that it’s never his fault
>>
>>221845831
>>221847583
Uhhh did we not see the same film? We saw the transformation of pirate clark. Are you implying there is more than one?
>>
>>221847497
>>
>>221845268
I loved the ending. They were losing me a bit with the Async exposition but the last minute or so was great
>>
>>221848400
it's found footage. these are not linear
>>
Anyone know what the seagull meant?
>>
I definitely thought the film was uncharitable to Clark. His delusions shouldn't have been indulged in, and he needed to look at himself before blaming others, but everything the therapist says at the end rings hollow. IDK if it was intended as a moral failing of the therapist, or was intended as some epic takedown of Clark, but in my view, there was none of Christ's love in her.

Then again, I thought it was stupid Clark became a cannibal for no reason.
>>
>>221842529
yes my friend sajeet got an infection after accidentally sewing his hands at the Nike factory but I got his rupees so it’s all good
>>
>>221848468
hungry lil nigga escaping the pool rooms
>>
i don't really get it but they should never really show the monsters isn't that kinda the point of it
>>
>>221848505
the monsters are infinite? isn't that the whole point of the backrooms? revealing one doesn't reveal all. pirate clark is not THE monster
>>
>>221848538
i don't fucking know man
>>
>>221848562
I don't really know either the whole thing is abstract. I think we'll get more answers in the sequel.
>>
>>221848596
the thing is too that i don't even want answers i want more of that kinda footage when clark made the kid go down there that was the only good part of the movie
>>
>>221841681
This move is awful the second act made no sense
>>
>>221843818
Bro torrents for it came out a few days ago. Not everything is a conspiracy.
>>
>>221843869
The camera man was high which explains his actions. It's also one of many allegories in the film. He was an addict just like Clark had which made him way more willing to jump into the slope of death. The movie is filled with allegorical dialogue and scenes that refer to the human psyche.
>>
>>221848779
ok kane parsons lets not go crazy here
>>
>>221848779
Weed doesn't count, bro.
>>
>>221848821
Marijuana rots the brain arguably faster then alcohol does.
>>
>>221847497
>>221848442
I don't think it's said that a thing has to enter the backrooms to be misremembered there. Like in >>221848400 it's not like Clark brought his "No Credit" signs in for them to be recreated in the backrooms.

Similarly, Clark theorises that the fat dude with six eyes must have a real version out in the real world somewhere, not that he also came into the backrooms.
>>
>>221848934
Uhhh I don't know I'd have to rewatch it. It doesn't make much sense to be misremembered where you've never entered. You're implying there are two pirate clarkes. One that transformed and one misremembered clark? or do they do some dimensional merging or something I don't know I think that makes much less sense.
>>
So who picked up the camera when Clark was talking through the wall with that girl? The copy of his wife?
>>
>>221849132
Me. I filmed them having sex.
