When I was in 6th grade (so about 11-12 years old), my teacher (an old conservative white lady), put on Shrek in the classroom. She said she was going to fast-forward through some parts because they weren't "school appropriate". She did this embarrassed "oops" laugh during the "parfaits are the best thing on the whole damn planet" scene and also the "I have to save my ass" scene, but then she fast-forwarded through the "there's an arrow in your butt" scene.

Nobody was uncomfortable.They really took it easy back then. One of the most popular Russian movies has naked women with tits and bushes and it's not a big deal at all. Soviet movies used to have naked kids in them ALL THE TIME.Nobody even thought that it could be viewed as pornography or anything like that.
