>Made only two good movies in his career (Jackie Brown and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood)why?
What about Desperado? That shit is awesome
>>221848951Robert Rodriguez was behind that, silly
>>221848951>What about Desperado? That shit is awesomecameo..didn't write/direct/anything else. did enjoy the cameo though. he was fine in small doses. should have retired half way through his career and been remembered as a genius. turns out not so much, just first to the ensemble cast/fast talking dialog trend
Reservoir Dogs > Jackie Brown > Death Proof > Pulp Fiction > Kill Bill > Django > Hateful Eight > Once Upon a Time > Inglorious Basterds
>>221849096I agree with this except I'd rank Pulp above Death Proof.
>>221848999>>221849073my bad. you have to admit though, Natural Born Killers is also a great movie
>>221848924Pulp Fiction is one of the greatest movies of all time.
>>221848924once upon a time in hollywood sucked dick
>>221849203>Natural Born Killers is also a great moviei enjoyed it..tarantino famously disowns it now since oliver stone 'changed too much'. felt like a fever dream, but in a good way
>>221848924Death Proof is his best movie, followed by Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Hateful Eight and Pulp Fiction are alright.
>>221848951the only good part is buscemi
>>221848924it's not a coincidence that those are the two movies he had to reign in his creative impulses to accomplish a more specific goal. I'd argue his third is Death Proof where he limited but also expanded his creative abilities to make a spoof of sorts. They all feel like movies rather than "qt movies"
>>221848924Jackie Brown and Inglorious Basterds are the only good ones.
One of my favorites from Tarantino that he didn't direct but wrote the script for was True Romance.
