Each island/obstacle was a highlight (especially Circe) and the gradual unfolding of the Trojan war's complexity was really well handled. Tom Holland and Matt Damon are completely flat and do not work at all as the films emotional centre. Anne Hathaway tries but she comes off as psychotic playing off Hollands robotic performance.
