Post undeniably bad movies that you love every time you watch them
>>
>>221850303
Here's that most underrated ridley Scott film you were talking about
>>
>>221850303
it's not that bad of a movie even if you knew the twist was coming
>>
>>221850357
I mean, it's very schlocky. The ticks are completely irrelevant to the plot and are just there to add fake depth to his character. The acting is over the top. The plot is ridiculous and predictable, ..

But I am OP and I've watched it like 20 times in my life and love it every single time.
>>
>>221850303
Now that I think about it. I don't think I've ever seen Sam Rockwell in anything bad.
>>
>>221850303
I'll try to think of 3 per /r/ rules
>>
3/3
>>
Death note netflix
Oldboy remake
>>
0% on rotten tomatoes but its a 10/10 movie on a certain level. Andy Garcia as a mob boss driving around with a snow cone machine built into his trunk
>>
>>221850582
>Oldboy remake
How?
>>
>>221850598
Of course the original hallway fight is better but the remake is still pretty good. Not so bad the actors don't wanna talk about it
>>
>>221850303
boo matchstick men is good
>>
>>221850456
I'll probably catch some heat for this, but The Green Mile is legitimately one of the worst films I've ever seen in my life. His performance was the only redeeming factor.
Anyway, here's my contribution. It's so formulaic and a product of its time, but I love the supporting cast's comedic antics, as well as the more dramatic elements with Thatcher's father and Prince Edward.
>Your men love you. If I knew nothing else about you, that would be enough... but you also tilt, when you should withdraw, and that is knightly too...
>>
>>221850649
I actually completely see what you mean. The plot is that of a bad Lifetime movie but it somehow works.

How is this undeniably bad? I'd say it's quite good, especially when comparing it to films that have come out in recent years.

Picrel is my "fuck you I like it" film. In fact, I don't just like it, I love it.
>>
>>221850705
Actually never watched this one. I read all his books as a kid and from what I remember they were kinda goofy.

>>221850303
how are these "undeniably bad" movies
>>
>>221850303
It's not a bad movie if I love it

>>221850649
I hate the Green Mile
>>
>>221850705
the da vinci code film has it's small little fanbase, weirdos, but they exist. the only issue i have is it's probably the worst paced movie i've ever seen and feels 3 1/2 hours long
>>
>>221851504
Maybe its popularity has waned but the davinci code was huge back in the day.
>>
1408 and fast 6. dunno why, i just love watching both of them. So many neat concepts executed in a fun way even if they are both kinda shit.
>>
>>221850705
Inferno was a full on action film
>>
>>221850500
Every single time I watch this movie this shit makes me die laughing because its a subtle call back to when he singls the real song in his convertible at the beginning

He's so good in it.
>>
>>221850303

National Treasure 1 & 2
>>
>>221850587
It's pretty good, but Against All Odds was the better Jeff Bridges 80s neo-noir.

Into the night is better than after hours

Grandma's Boy
>>
>>221852366
I really liked the direction they choose to go in 2 with them getting divorced. I've never seen someone do that in a sequel. Pretty original.
