The movie is good, classic Nolan, even though I'm not really a fan of his. I thought the first act was pretty rough; it almost feels like a completely different movie compared to the rest. I hate the way Nolan starts his films. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and this is definitely one of the times it doesn't.

Even though the movie is good overall, it's incredibly inconsistent. Some scenes are absolute garbage, while others are a perfect 10/10. The experience is worth it for the Hades sequences and the Sirens' song alone, they're absolutely incredible.

In the Hades scenes, you can easily spot the influence of filmmakers like Bergman. The Cyclops sequence was also adapted really well, and the scene where the ship is torn apart in the storm has phenomenal sound mixing.

It's definitely Nolan's most ambitious film, but it's nowhere near his best. Memento still hasn't been topped. Overall, I'd give it a solid 7.5/10.
