Looking back, I wish the Dharma Initiative remained more mysterious and unexplained, but in exchange, the writers were given free reign to go balls deep with Island history/mythology in Season 6, rather than just an episode here or there (Across the Sea). Who the fuck built the cork, where, when, why, how? That's the kinda shit I wanted to see; not Dharma scientists being revelaed as goofy relatable dorks who made mistakes sometimes because golly they're just human after all, like us.

Terry O’Quinn is a good actor. I felt seriously uneasy when he was the Man in Black. He knows how to come off as malevolently evil without overdoing it.
