>>221861892It plays well in a theater but honestly its not a great evil dead film. It's still a league above most horror movies but it's missing that ooky spooky evil dead special sauce. I dont think raimi shouldve gone with a French director.

>>221861786It was the least Evil Dead movie since Army of Darkness. It felt like they took a different script about a very specific family trauma and tacked on some Evil Dead flavoring. I liked the movie but it could have been its own thing.
Just watched it earlier today, I like this kind of gory movie, wasnt expecting that much, but it's never too much, like the music as well
