I understand the hate for "The Odyssey", but I hope backlash isn't directed toward Lupita because she is beautiful (to me) and kind person IRL. Also, she was probably excited to be cast in the role, despite how weird of a decision it was. In the end, it's just a movie anyways, and "Troy (2004)" already exists.

It was the utterly pathetic way she went after Homer using a tired and trite woke argument. It showed that she doesn't even have a passing familiarity with the story, let alone read the book. Which is a fucking disgrace for someone with a Masters from Yale.
>>221863499I would wife her but she has no place playing Helen/Clytemnestra
>>221863499>hollywood>infinite money>can't figure out how to put makeup on a black lady without making her look like a clown The only reasonable conclusion is they hired an unattractive person and made her even less attractive on purpose
>made her professional acting debut in Romeo and Juliet in a stage production in Nairobi 1990s Kenya was so disgustingly woke. the cultural appropriation is sickening.
