Out local news paper was there interviewing people after the showing and you can tell all the normal people said it was great but all the ugly loser were talking shit. There was even one guy who was wearing a diaper and a Nerdortic t-shirt and a maga hat and he was the only person who didn't like the movie. this movie is a classic

This will probably piss off absolutely everyone, but I'd compare it to TLOU2.Some cutscenes leaked and /v/ started working itself into a feverish frenzy about how it was clearly going to be a complete pile of woke disprespectful falsely-advertised dogshit. They somehow got the idea that a certain key character was a tranny and started sharing that as fact. They made an endless stream of (admittedly hilarious) memes and generally wrote it off.Unfortunately for them, it turned out to be a 10/10. Remarkable game. Brutal combat. masterful storytelling, deeply engrossing, unique vibe, technically stunning. A bit woke, but it didn't matter much.I played that game unspoiled at launch having avoided /v/ for over a month beforehand since I didn't want to see any leaks. It was surreal scrolling past countless threads filled with nonsense from people who clearly hadn't played it and weren't going to.Similarly I got back from a 70mm imax showing of Odyssey yesterday to see /tv/ talking shit about it. Although this time I was just disappointed and not surprised. I'm still seeing Page=Achilles posts all over the place.Great movie. Do watch it in a real imax if you can, it's worth travelling at least a few hours for.
The difference is BG3 has actual color and it's possible to make a hot character.
