I've always loved this and Kingdom of Heaven (directors cut version). Never understood the hate it got in real time. And as more time passes by movies like them just won't be made anymore where it's just machismo white folks with no gender and colour politics

I saw it in theaters unlike most of the faggy zoomers here. It was great and paced correctly. Petersen was the right choice and Nolan was probably too young a filmmaker to do so. But it’s interesting to see how he would have done it in the Troy scenes in The Odyssey.

Sorry chuds but odyssey is the better movie even if Troy has better production design and pacing

I don't like Kingdom of Heaven, Ridley Slop very blatantly tries to make it look like the Christians were le evil for giving muzzies and ass whooping. I also hate the colour grading, this is where Ridley started abusing the blue filter and it likely popularized that shit all over Hollywood with time.
