Were dive bars really serious business in the US in the 1980s?
>>
drunk violent people are subhuman. last night i went to my regular bar and guy starts trying to fight people and he gets kicked out and throws a bike at the car of the owner of the bar. was a white guy too not even a chimpout. fuck dive bars
>>
I still don't know what the difference is between a regular bar and a dive bar other than trashiness is not only expected at dive's, but encouraged
>>
yes and every male adult and child walked around like a seething badass who was usually getting the shit beat out of them either by their drunk dad or other drunk adult males
>>
I've never seen a bar like Road House but there are biker bars and black bars that have extreme violence. They generally close within a year.

Anything that's strictly a "bar" and not a "sportspub" in modern day America is probably a dive bar.
