Does anyone find it suspicious that around the late 90s and very early 00s, all the Jim Henson shows like Fraggle Rock, Dinosaurs, The Muppet Show and Muppet Babies stopped rerunning? Okay, Fraggle Rock did rerun again in the 2010s, but aside from that, none of the others did. Even Disney didn't put Dinosaurs or the two Muppet shows on a premium channel one had to pay for. Toon Disney was right there for Muppet Babies to be on. Jim Henson's legacy was basically dead during the 2000s. And yes, Jim Henson is the reason Dinosaurs exists, even though he passed away before the show premiered.
Don't most shows get forgotten and never have reruns?

There are a fuck ton of TV shows that just fell out of syndication after they aired. Only a handful of them actually end up sticking around and those are only for the most popular ones like Seinfeld, Friends or The Office
>>221985883Definitely felt like the stuff they produced alongside Disney got kind of buried and Muppet stuff kept underperforming, plus Jim Henson Company started questioning traditional puppetry and got into making CGI stuff. Sometimes it feels like its turning around like they have some success with stuff like Dark Crystal Age of Resistance and newer Muppet stuff is well received, but the guys on top just want to save money and maximize profits and puppetry takes a lot of time and money.

People want new things, so eventually you can't keep beating the same dead horses. Also, have you actually seen how Dinosaurs ended? the entire family and the rest of the dinosaurs fucking die in an ice age. Not exactly something you want to rerun
