First season is dogshit, everyone is unlikable to the extreme, and one particular character (the gray haired fat guy with the gay son) hijacks the show.

Season two starts making the characters less assholes and they phase out the annoying gray haired fat guy.

I never liked it much. I was a fan of the Shield and Nip/Tuck and was expecting something on that level and I wound up very disappointed and dumped it after about 6-12 episodes because I wasn't interested in the soap opera.
