>Fans who attended the Lucasfilm Publishing Panel at San Diego Comic-Con just witnessed one of the weekend’s biggest surprises! Following reveals for upcoming Marvel Star Wars titles, Marvel Comics’ Outgoing Editor-in-Chief and Editor, Asia Original C.B. Cebulski announced that Indiana Jones returns to Marvel Comics this December in INDIANA JONES AND THE SWORD OF PANDEMONIUM, an all-new five-issue limited series from superstar writer Jason Aaron and acclaimed artist Aaron Kuder. The series kicks off an all-new era of comic book adventures for the iconic archaeologist set during the original groundbreaking films.

>In the wake of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indy’s most notorious villains, including the impossible return of an archenemy, seek a terrifying new source of power to recoup their loss—one that’s fallen into the hands of his former companion, Marion Ravenwood. Now, Indiana Jones has to race to the far corners of the globe in search of a biblical weapon, embarking on an epic quest that will put both his archeology skills and skepticism of the supernatural to the ultimate test!

>“I’ve wanted to adventure alongside Indiana Jones since I was 8 years old, to climb through ancient crypts and run for my life in exotic locales, to seek the world’s most fabled treasures. Now, here I am, feeling the same sort of joy I felt in 2015 when we launched STAR WARS #1,” Aaron shared. “This is the Indy of Raiders of the Lost Ark, fresh off his harrowing experience on the island of Geheimhaven. Dark events were set in motion that day, strange new enemies have risen from the shadows, and for Indy and Marion Ravenwood the globe-trotting, punching, whip-cracking, and death-defying escapades, not to mention the archaeology, have just begun.”

>“I’m very excited to be on this book with Jason Aaron. Indie has always felt like he should be a staple of a comic book character,” Kuder added.

HEY THANKS FOR HIGHLIGHTING MY WORK!

Writer Jason Aaron here. I'll let you in on a little spoiler just to whet your appetite! You'll be thrilled to learn that it's actually Marion who's the competent archaeologist of the two! After all, her father IS Dr Ravenwood!

And I made sure out artist drew our main NahtSee bad guy with a certain comb-over and orange complexion! You're welcome!

And thanks for supporting my work on Thor starring Jane Foster!

Aaron is a mixed bad but shouldn't be written off.
The Jane Thor stuff was genuinely some of the better modern diversity comics (and while Love and Thunder was a trash adaptation of the Gorr arcs PortmanJaneThor was immeasurably better than some of the other diverse/female stuff from the post EG MCU)

(INCREDIBLE)
> Thor - GodButcher/GodBomb

(VERY GOOD)
> Thor - Last Days of Midgard

(DECENT TO GOOD)
> The Coipel drawn Thor mini series with him potentially getting the Ultimate hammer.
> JaneThor
> Thor - The Accursed

(OK/DECENT-ISH)
> Aaron's Avengers outside of She-Hulk

(DUMPSTERFIRE TRASH)
> Aaron's Punisher (some good stuff with the Hand and Ares but the stuff with Maria damages his entire mythos)
> Aaron's She-Hulk

Marvel's art has been dogshit for decades at this point. Nowadays their stuff is just traced or AI or both.

It is objective fact.
She personally didn't demonize or emasculate Thor. The book did marginalize and depower him but I can tolerate that as long as the replacement themselves isn't a hostile POS. That is the mistake the new Lanterns show is making by having Stewart be a entitled arrogant despicable fucker.

The artwork was good the whole run.

Her design was cool.

And there was nothing a billion light years close to being as cringe or radical feminist-y as Riri Williams, America Chavez or Aaron's SheHulk.
