The first half was honestly a bit enjoyable since Caine's wacky adventures helped even out the drama dump scenes and when it followed the ensemble cast structure the therapy schtick felt a lot less egregious since there were at least different focuses.(ep2 pomni and gumigoo,ep3 kinger, ep4 gangle) Of course it just becomes the Pomni and Jax show after that and everyone else gets shoved to the side so the plot can happen with sometimes Kinger and Caine doing something. Then Caine gets sent to the recycle bin, the obvious brain scan theory gets confirmed, and then you get to watch a whole boring hour of the Jax show with an ending of all of them having admin powers and being stuck there until the computer hosting them gets shutdown or they all abstract. You can really tell Goosework didn't want to do a second season of this with how there's absolutely nothing to build off since they're all "yup we're all stuck here now and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it lol!". If there's ever another season goose would have to throw nearly every aspect of the original ending out the window due to there being no stakes if their "lives" are in danger.
