Doom can reverse the magnetic polarity of his armor and throw Magneto's powers back at him. You have to remember that not only is he a powerful sorcerer, but his suit rivals that of Iron Man. Doom nullifies Magneto's powers, and Magneto without his powers is just some dumb old jew.
