When you talk to Millennials about the 2000s, the problem is that they literally want to go back rather than just reminisce about the bygone days. It's disheartening really and beyond the point of being nostalgic about the past, almost to a sickening degree. The social landscape has also changed so much in the past 30 years that putting out 2000s nostalgia-bait would be like looking into a window to a different world, and I think people are so far gone that even those who lived through it wouldn't accept or relate to it because it's not diverse enough or some shit. Just watch some early 2000s comedies or something, but those are under fire now for being problematic, even though they were a fair portrayal of 2000s culture at the time.
