>Watch The Odyssey with normie friends
>"How did you like the movie"
>"I liked it, though it was pretty long"
>After that, we go to the restaurant and never mention the movie again
Why do normies do that? What's even the point of watching the movie?

they are npc, unlike us

they have to watch an eceleb review before they develop opinion.

>Watch The Odyssey

yikes
>>
>>222140447
Most normies have zero attention span
They don't recall things more than a few minutes in the past if at all

Movies from around 2010 aren't primarily made with 'watch them' in mind but rather the bigger hits are made with 'get some hecking memes going'
So you could probably mention 'le hecking epic' moments and they might recall them

Maybe they didn't like the movie?
I didn't like the movie but I said I liked it because I didn't want to bring the mood down. Maybe everybody else felt the same way?
>>
Translation: I watched a camrip with clyde frog

>watch the odyssey
Kill yourself
>>
>>222140622
why dont you tell your honest feelings? arent they your friends? the last time i went out with them, i talked shit when the movie was bad
>>
dont think just consoom
>>
>>222140683
I don't know all of them well enough to speak plainly. A girl in our group suggested it and if I were to say the movie was shit I would badmouth her choice

>Watch The Odyssey with normie friends
>mid movie a guy on my left(I assumed it was one of my friends) asks me if he can give me a blowjob
>I don't want to bring the mood down so I say yes
>actually enjoy it
>movies finishes
>I realize that the guy on my left was a stranger
>too ashamed to say anything
>>
>>222140447
I used to use Meetup to get together with strangers to go to movies and the same shit would happen, we'd barely talk before the movie, then after it would be just "well, bye!" and they had the same type of single sentence bland opinions as you posted. I don't get it either.

>>After that, we go to the restaurant and never mention the movie again
>Why do normies do that?
The problem is not "normies" is the movie. Nolan makes sterile movies devoid of human spark, he generates buzz by latching to popular characters, settings and stories or employing gimmicks but his movies simply lack substance.
>>
Your brain needs to process the movie first. Are you one of those annoying twats who wants a verdict right after your first bite? Count yourself lucky they still consider you a friend
>>
>>222140447
>he has friends
Fucking normie
>>
>>222140568
Literally my fiancé's friend in a nutshell. She smokes pot, has tats and recently got into body piercings, so you can imagine she's not a happy person.
>>
>>222140447
It was a mid movie that's not going to have a lasting cultural impact, another avatar. There's really nothing to talk about unless you're a classic literaturefag sperging out about Nolan butchering the source material.

>retards on /tv/ think getting stunlocked by a movie and dedicating the next month of your life to crying about it online is what it takes to not be an NPC

That's every movie now

The only meme type thing I'm seeing from this movie is the godawful beat down scene with the suitors.

I beg to differ

That's most movies since like the late 60's. This isn't the 40's and 50's where taste and rhetoric were taught in schools and the average person had a very high sense of taste and discernment. The average man and especially woman today has very low breeding and taste in art. So they make movies that cater to them because, in the end, it's a business.

God, I can't wait to be dead.
>>

I sort of can't either, but the good news is we can go back and watch those old movies. Been watching GUNSMOKE lately, it's kino
