I guess this was also present in Rise but I don't remember it being nearly as bad there as it was here in Burn: This movie completely forgets that the Deadites aren't just zombies that talk. Their chaotic playfulness is completely absent. The exchange where the grandma asks the girlfriend Deadite if she's going to return her wallet and the Deadite says "Uhh... yeah" is a great bit, but that's the only good Deadite moment in the entire movie.The protagonist is French and they don't do ANYTHING with it. I hear the concept "a French person fights the Deadites" and I immediately picture a scene where multiple Deadites have her surrounded and start singing:>Frere Jacques, Frere Jacques>We're gonna get you, we're gonna get you>Sonnez les matines, sonnez les matines>Dead by dawn!
