>>222308699I finally saw this turd, and honestly, I was more annoyed by how the movie changes the order and way some events happen than the castingIn the end, its true that the polemic casting barely appears in the movie, focusing more on the ones that arent really DEI hires, so yeah, it was more how some events played out that made the move drastically inferior to previous adaptationsYou never see Hermes helping Odysseus with Circe, nor Odysseus playing the "Nobody" name with the cyclops, among many other stuffThe movie also strangely spent a bit too much on a monologue about "war is bad", and Odysseus does unironically say "our bronze age is ending" which felt more like a troll line /tv/ would made upTelemachus was also done dirty here, he barely does anything, and the few times he fights, he gets beat up super easily, so even in the final fight, Odysseus is the one doing everythingSo, overall, I'm having a hard time thinking of something that I thought was good on this movie... perhaps a few key emotional scenes that actually landed well, but other than that, the movie was drastically inferior to pic relatedAlso what's with the colors and lightning? the whole movie felt way too dark
