What made his older videos better despite the quality technically being worse? What was the magic?

>>222308897I have thought about this for years but I'm not the best at explaining it. Basically there was some honesty behind what he was saying and personal experience. Once he ran out of games he personally played when he was younger, he started reviewing games that he had never actually played before. So naturally he has to phone it in and that's where the rage just isn't the same. Examples of some of his best work, Ghostbusters and Dick Tracy.

he covered it all, his genuine childhood anger was all expressed in the early years so he had to force the rest of it because he got famous. its just pathetic seeing him do it now as a husband and father. he should have disappeared before he made the movie
