An ugly movie that looks like it was filmed entirely on one generic "space bar" set or in front of a green screen. Surf Dracula story of her only getting her costume in the last fight of the movie (which was set to that awful cover) - also gotta save Krypto again!. Misses the point and aesthetic of the comic its adapting and is just overall a dull fucking time.

I remember how there was some genuine questions about how the Titanic was so expensive to make, when it ballooned to 200 million budget. It was a news item. People were mocking Waterworld when it ended costing 175 million. Now, those budgets are more or less a norm for big budget movies, yet we constantly see them doing less than what they need to break even. It's no wonder Hollywood is desperately trying to find the next Youtube thing they can produce cheap and make a killing.
