This movie was a fucking amazing redpill. I have no idea if it was on purpose but the Nazis come off incredibly sympathetic in it. Crowe as Goring basically wins you over by the time the movie is over, Rami Malek's character has no real answers for when Goring starts to accuse the Americans of hypocrisy for dropping the atomic bombs.I don't know what Hollywood was thinking making a film like this but it winds up making multiple high-ranking Nazis look very sympathetic.
Hermann Göring wasn't a true believer, by any means. He had his position because he was a somewhat respected military veteran and officer in the Prussian Empire
The common theme for historical Nazi's as they are perceived both in the mainstream and by /pol/ alike is that the entire ideology runs on the value of aesthetics. Naturally once the pristine and orderly white man's utopia appears out of reach, the unifying political agenda vanishes and it's every man for himself.
